The Portsdown Heavy Duty Sealer is designed primarily for heavy duty sack sealing applications and is a true heavy duty machine that can impulse seal up to 1500 gauge polythene as well as lined paper sacks, PVC, Reedex etc. gusseted or non-gusseted. The HDS has a fully automatic weld cycle initiated by a foot switch, which enables unskilled staff to seal up to 500 sacks per hour.

Features

Operation is completely automatic with weld controlled by the new Portsdown Timer Module, with trim controlled by hand or foot switch.

The standard machine is supplied with twin solenoids and has a 26 x 6mm dual element impulse seal, although other lengths can be supplied.

The Heavy Duty Sealer uses the latest microchip technology for reliability and low cost repairs; regular maintenance by a skilled maintenance engineer is not normally required.

All electrical functions are isolated in the new Portsdown Timer Module.

The Heavy Duty Sealer has a fully adjustable stand that can be used with the adjustable holder or reversed for use with a conveyor.

It’s safe to use with no danger of burning or crushing fingers.
