Pallets have to be handled extensively for inspection and storage for pallet users. They are cumbersome when handled by one person and the Health and Safety Regulations for lifting manually cannot by kept. It is necessary for lifting equipment to be installed and used.

Portsdown offer a Pallet Lifter that is mobile by forklift truck. All the vacuum pump needs is a three-phase power supply and then it’s operational.

A 4-metre jib can be supplied and the final lift is determined by the height of the pillar.

The jib can be rotated through 270 degrees, which gives an enormous area on which to stack pallets. Ideally they should be stacked on conveyor rollers to the required height and moved quickly away from the stacking area.

Portsdown offer the complete unit as illustrated with 4-metre jib, 3 and a half metre column lift tube and fittings and a side channel blower.
